About the PTO
The CVE PTO is a parent volunteer organization whose mission is to make sure that CVE gets the support needed to provide the best possible experience for its families and staff. Currently, the PTO is led by a board consisting of several officers (listed below) and enhanced by parents/guardians, volunteers, and school staff.
- Establish and maintain a working relationship among parents, school and community.
- Enhance the quality of education by raising funds for school supplies or programs that fall outside the school budget.
- Support school improvement teams and promote the finest education possible for the students.
- Increase student safety and security.
- Support programs and projects that will enrich the curriculum.
What the PTO Does for CVE?
Unlike many other schools, we do not participate in organized sales to supplement the PTO. Membership fees, fundraising events, along with donations from our CVE families and community, are the primary methods the PTO uses to raise the necessary funds to operate its activities and events during the school year. With these donations, the PTO has been able to plan fun events like Bingo Night, Fall Fest, Spring Fling and also recognize our wonderful staff during Teacher Appreciation Week.
We welcome any new ideas!
